During Followers 2010-2011, the students interacted with phrases, verses and Bible stories. On the last day of Followers, we had the students write down some practical applications of actually practicing these principles in real life. This series “Quotes from kids” will share what the kids wrote:
Say it Phrase: After getting teased and shoved, I can choose to show God’s love.
Say it Verse: Love your enemies. Pray for those who hurt you. Matthew 5:44

- Be nice
- Don’t tease others
- Pray for them
- Walk away from it
- Say: “that’s not nice”
- Tell others to show God’s love
- Be respectful
- Don’t tease and shove
- Can say: “please stop”
- Don’t kick anyone
- Tell a teacher
- Don’t hit them
- Forgive them and pray for them
- Tell them about God and that He wouldn’t like the way they are acting
- Say: “Excuse me, I have to leave.”
