Unbelievable! I’ve seen neat graphics and photographs of the different stages of prenatal development, but never an imaging video like this. Simply amazing!
My favorite part of the presentation was when the presenter said:
“…it is hard not to attribute divinity to it…”
Another quote:
“Even though I am a mathematician, I look at this with marvel: How do these instruction sets not make these mistakes as they build what is us?”
TED talk description: Image-maker Alexander Tsiaras shares a powerful medical visualization, showing human development from conception to birth and beyond.
I agree with you Jeremy – The coolest part is his statement referring to divinity: “it is hard not to attribute divinity to it”. These two passages came to my mind right away. I think God’s main purpose in allowing us to get glimpses of such awesomeness is to awaken our hearts to see him and to worship him – Our creator and our God
Romans 1:20
For his [God] invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made.
Psalms 139:14-18
“I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them. How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I would count them, they are more than the sand.
It was really neat to see something that you don’t “see” ever!
I am in shock! This video is amazing benyond description.
Great is our God, and greatly to be praised. We are indeed
fearfully and wonderfully made.
